The City of Warman Volunteer Appreciation Awards are presented yearly. Warman Arts Centre was the proud recipient of the Volunteer Group of the Year for 2024. Without the dedication and support from members of our community the art centre would not exist. A big thank you to everyone for supporting arts in your community.

Martie Giesbrecht is a Canadian Artist from the province of Saskatchewan. The Prairie scenery provides an abundance of inspiration for her to paint. Her life revolves around her family, friends and church. When she's not working or driving her girls somewhere, she can be found in front of her easel, reading a good book or having coffee with a friend.

Hi! I'm Anita, and I'm on the Warman Arts Centre board. I create images that are used for advertising. I also teach alcohol inks and textured art classes at the arts centre.
I create with acrylics, encaustics, oils, and alcohol inks. Inks are unruly and vibrant, which makes them my favourite to explore. Finger painting is my favourite way

I create with acrylics, encaustics, oils, and alcohol inks. Inks are unruly and vibrant, which makes them my favourite to explore. Finger painting is my favourite way to create as it is an expressive and tactile way to get right into the art! I also use palette knives, brushes, and recycled gift cards as painting tools.
